A Day of Remembrance (ADORE)

ADORE provides a comforting space for bereaved caregivers and medical professionals to commemorate the lives of deceased children who had put up a brave fight against cancer. It also serves as a platform for families and medical professionals to show support and comfort for each other.

Legacy Building Programme

CCF’s Legacy Building Programme aims to provide a more positive, creative and artistic way for children with cancer and their families to make meaning of their tough journey with the intent to facilitate resilience in adversity.

Echoes of Love

Echoes of Love is a music therapy based legacy building program using heartbeat recordings to create recorded musical keepsakes for families and patients who are at the advanced stages of their cancer journey. A time for family bonding, emotional process and meaningful connection is facilitated through music therapy interventions such as songwriting, musical reminiscence and life review.

Love Continues

Held monthly, Love Continues is an open support group that aims to promote acceptance and learning together in living with loss and grief. Creative arts and activities are used as therapeutic tools to help bereaved caregivers integrate the reality of the loss into the ongoing story of their lives, while also reconstructing their continuing bond with their loved ones.

Love Renewed

First introduced in 2019, Love Renewed is a retreat for bereaved caregivers and their families that involves the use of therapeutic space, nature and photography to facilitate self-reflection and renewal. Love Renewed hopes to strengthen familial relationships in the midst of grief and bereavement. It is also an opportunity to foster social support and promote self-care among the bereaved caregivers.

Wishlink Programme

CCF Wishlink Programme seeks to facilitate family bonding and meaningful memories for children with poor prognosis through fulfilling their wishes. Some of the wishes include family outings and staycations to photoshoots and birthday parties.

Family Photography

CCF’s Family Photography programme aims to provide family members with a meaningful opportunity for bonding through a time of photoshoot. A tangible legacy item, in the form of a photobook, may also help in the grieving process of bereaved families and nurture continuing bonds with the deceased child.
